Roadmap briefs
Where Atlas is going, written as engineering briefs rather than marketing bullets: the problem each item solves, the design direction, its dependencies and its maturity. Shared under access because a detailed roadmap is a commitment map — evaluators planning multi-year programmes get the full picture, including the items we consider hard.
Headline areas the briefs cover:
- Cryptography — the FIPS-validated backend and post-quantum hybrid handshake tracks
- Supply chain — reproducible builds and per-release exploitability statements
- Data plane — IPv6 inside the tunnel; terrain-aware link scoring integration
- Traversal — observability of punched paths and enrolment flows
- Platforms — the Android release path and embedded targets
- Developer surface — the SDK pipeline: daemon-emitted OpenAPI contract, CI-gated, generated clients (public outline on the SDKs page)
Roadmap briefs describe intent, not commitments. Anything you need contractually belongs in an agreement, and the briefs say so on every page.
